    Digital Maturity of Sports Clubs: Winning the tough Match of digital Transformation
    Professional sports clubs have to deal with the challenges of digital transformation as other industries do. The "Sport Club Maturity Assessment" tries to assess the status quo of the digital maturity of sport clubs and derive recommendations for action.
    The model was developed as part of the Executive Master of Business Engineering at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and performed with 12 professional sport clubs from Austria, Germany and Switzerland. It answers questions like: Are sports clubs really different than other businesses? How can they benefit from digital transformation? What do best practitioners do better than other clubs?
